Windows Media Player (abbreviated WMP) is a media player and media library application developed by Microsoft that is used for playing audio, video and viewing images on personal computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system. It plays all media files if a codec pack is installed. WMP is a terrible Black MIDI player as it takes a while to open files and also stops the playback at crash points or points with a large amount of notes. Microstop stopped it's development after Windows 8 release and it got depreciated by Groove Music (for audio) and Microsoft Movies & TV (for video) on Windows 10. The later unable to play MIDI files, including Black MIDIs
